After graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 1989 with a degree in engineering, Brett and a partner founded Vision Software in Silicon Valley. After a number of successful software products, Vision was purchased by a publicly traded company and Brett served on the Board of Directors and ran US operations. From 1996-2000 he helped start ValleyNet, a local ISP, as Senior Network Engineer. From 2001-03 he took a position as Internet Security Researcher at Dartmouth College’s Institute for Security Technologies Studies. After leaving Dartmouth he worked for the US government until 2006. In 2006 he founded ReKnew Energy Systems, Inc.
David Tofel
After graduating from the University of Denver in 2000, Dave traveled in the South Pacific, Europe, Africa and Central America studying environmental issues. He joined ReKnew Energy shortly after it was founded in 2006 and now runs its residential installation division.
Simon Leavitt
After graduating in 2007 from Rose-Hulman Institute Of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering, Simon joined ReKnew Energy as a Solar Design Engineer. He has designed projects from 2.5 kW to .45 MW. and has three years experience in solar design.
Steve Teel
Is a 1974 graduate of Dartmouth College with a BA degree in Art/Architecture. Steve has 4 years experience in solar installation and heads the solar hot water division.
Joanna Sharf
Is a 1980 graduate of Yale University. Joanna is a master electrician and supervises all PV interconnections. She has over 5 years experience in the solar industry.

Is a 1974 graduate of Union College. He has 30+ years experience in marketing and sales. He was a managing partner at Tofel & Clark, Inc.. and the executive vice-president of Rembrandt Photo Services. Steve retired in December 2008 as president of Pacific Trendz, Inc. to join ReKnew Energy.
Zachary Kerin
Received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vermont Technical College followed by a Bachelors of Science degree in Sustainable Design (Renewable Energy Track). He is the lead System Design Engineer at ReKnew with experience in residential and commercial design of PV and solar hot water systems.
Peter Corbett
Is a 1980 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS degree in Building Construction. He is a licensed general contractor in the state of Florida. Pete has held a number of high profile positions in commercial development in Florida and Georgia and has successfully developed $50MM+ commercial retail projects. Most recently he was president of newSOLergy, LLC in Marietta, Georgia and joined ReKnew Energy to help run its commercial division.

In 2002, Phil graduated from Sienna College with a BS in Marketing and Management. After graduation, Phil started Accent Painting and P2, a property investment and management company. In 2008, Phil moved to Vermont and started work in the solar industry, installing wind, thermal and photovoltaic systems for residential and commercial customers. He joined ReKnew in 2009 as a Lead Residential Installer.

Is a 2009 graduate of Dartmouth College with BA degrees in Chemistry and Environmental Studies. She joined ReKnew in 2009 as the Assistant Marketing Director.
